A reminder that Tina Weintraub is again offering a four-session American Art and Artists class this summer.
Dates: July 12, July 19, July 26, August 2.
Time: 10a-noon
Place: First three sessions at CMC (room TBA)
Fee: $60 for all four sessions
$20 for a single session
+$5 donation to SAM
Seniors’ Reception and Docent Talk
July 5, 2010 12:45p. Romancing the Stone - Natalie Bieber July 14, 2010, 10am to 11:30 am Fee: $25/$15 for Seniors - Class limit: 20 Natalie will present a workshop on the many forms of turquoise. Topics will be locations of mines, colors and types of stones, natural vs. imitation and uses in jewelry. Natalie will bring a selection of turquoise as examples. Natalie Bieber, B.S., M.S., has been involved with jewelry making for over 20 years and has sold her work in local shops and in Connecticut. She has takes classes with GIA, AGTA, Stuller and Rio Grande. A Steamboat resident for over 20 years, she is a volunteer and docent at Steamboat Art Museum
